Happy Halloween from PrideRock

, Happy Halloween from PrideRock

Although PrideRock Wildlife Refuge is not open to the public, we still like to decorate for the holidays. In fact, Christmas is the owner’s favorite holiday, so she goes big for Christmas. But this year, I took a shot at the decorating, and believe me, I’m no decorator, but at least we have a few pumpkins and such to make PrideRock look a little festive for the fall season. As I’m rummaging through the boxes of Halloween decorations, I’m thinking “With all these plastic pumpkins and pumpkin stakes to put in the ground, this should be a snap!” NOT!! Decorating was actually very tough because I had nine acres to decide where to put all of it! So I loaded up a wheelbarrow full with pumpkins and other items and began at the front gate and worked my way back. I found specific places to put all the decor but it wasn’t easy picking the perfect, okay “purrfect” spot. And although my decorating prowess might not be the best in the world, I think Halloween is still represented nicely. Have a Spook-tacular Halloween!

Thought I’d share some photos with you.
