Dear Friends ~ Our year has gotten off to a good start at PRWR.. In spite of their caretakers' physical setbacks, everyone at PR seems healthy and happy with the exception of Charly, my one year old akita who is out of control. I think we are going to contact the Dog Whisperer for her. She is going to kill us way before anyone else out here. ;-) She is so strong now that Gary and I walk her in and out of the house with two leashes! I am reminded of my neck problems while trying to mimic Gabe as he greets me swaying his head and talking. Gary is recovering nicely from his hip replacements so I can slack a little now.:-)

I can’t believe it’s been so long since I let everyone know what’s going on around PrideRock. Seasons have come and gone, the leaves are falling and time gets away. It will be impossible to remember all the good things that have come our way and the people who make it all happen. Thanksgiving is a good time to remember and be grateful for our blessed animals and friends. We had a priest come out last weekend and bless each and every one which was awe-inspiring. All the cats and canines seem healthy and happy which is most important.

I can’t believe summer is almost here. The heat is on at PrideRock and the misters and swimming holes will be in place soon! We have had so much going on and thanks to our friends at GMAC, we have the money necessary to construct a new tiger pen to make room for our tiger, Rambo who has been with us since last fall. He is our largest tiger and has been in the smallest space since his rescue so he desperately needs a new enclosure.

It’s amazing that Spring is right around the corner and I haven’t written since last Summer with the exception of my post about Callie. I still think of her every day and miss her terribly. I loved her so and she was such an important part of the PrideRock family.
